Following an upsurge in interest in developing a stream of work around Further Education (FE) Colleges in 2020-2021, CoS UK is now consulting the CoS network on charging an accreditation fee (£450) for FE Colleges when they are recognised as a FE College of Sanctuary. This follows an earlier consultation with several FE Colleges in summer 2020 which indicated that FE Colleges felt the fee was appropriate and they were positive about the introduction of a fee.

A fee would enable CoS UK to better support local groups and FE Colleges engage with the sanctuary awards process, develop regional/national online events, maintain the website and publicise and share good practice.
